Cut out the columns. No need to sand smooth. click the image to the left for a larger view |

Lightly cut vertical grooves into the surface of the columns. This texture is like the fluting on real columns. click the image to the left for a larger view |

Glue column parts together. Fit the parts to match where they were cut. click the image to the left for a larger view |

Glue columns on to the top of the lid in a slight semi-circular direction that follows the outline of the edge. click the image to the left for a larger view |

Add roof & glue. Cut this 1/2” thick piece from the saved outer section as seen in step 6. click the image to the left for a larger view |

Cut out the pediment by taking out a small circle. Also part of the 1/2” saved outer section. click the image to the left for a larger view |
